Jyväskylän oopperakuorolla on suuri rooli oopperaproduktioissa joiden lisäksi se esiintyy itsenäisesti erilaisissa konserteissa ja tapahtumissa. Mukana on niin musiikin harrastajia kuin ammattilaisiakin aina parikymppisistä eläkeikäisiin. Kuorolaisia yhdistää rakkaus musiikkiin ja näyttämöilmaisuun. Laulajat valitaan koelaulujen perusteella. Jyväskylän oopperakuoroa johtaa Noora Määttä.
